Okay, the law is the issue here. Compassionate people everywhere agree that everyone deserves the chance to live freely. Our very freedom is because of the laws that protect it. Having said that, I also would like to see something take place that would be compassionate to those already in our country , yet fair. Race is not the issue, legal rights are the issue. Now tell me this...would you want to see the father of your child deported?? That is only one example of what is at risk here. How do we reach a compassionate decision regarding all concerned? The question truly raises so many more questions. I just advise all of you to be open minded to the many aspects of this issue.
