Los angeles man Arrested For DUI After Hitting 24 Cars with his pick-up?

If he doesn't have any money, no job and lives at a friend's house, who pays for the damages he caused? Does his sentence increase because he can't pay?

Answers:
He's just a good ol' boy.
The other people's insurance.
I think his sentence might be more severe for driving without insurance.
Unless thats just a fine. But if he doesn't have the money to pay that...
Sentences are not dependent on a condemned person's financial status. In cases where the punishment is a fine and/or sentence and the condemned cannot or will not pay the fine, the sentence is given as punishment instead.

The insurance of the respective victims ought to compensate them. They also have the option of suing him, though the phrase "blood from a stone" comes to mind.
