Many DUI Questions (CA)?

just randomly asking this b/c i saw my friend getting caught.

1. I'm underage. (turning 20) what would happen if i get caught? (0 tolerance) what could be different if i was over 21?
2. is there any possible way to minimize the breathalizer reading?
3. Any tips on how i should act when confronted by a cop?
(Things to say, not say, DO this, Do not do this..)
4. Refusing to take breathalizer tests and going to police station for a blood test. Does it work? (Do i get to choose the method?)
5. If i get drunk, call my friend to drive my car for me while me sitting in the backseat, if cops ever pull him over can i still be caught for underage drinking?
6. anything you want to advise me will be appreciated.
Answers:
Since your under 21, you can get a fine for under age drinking. Oh, and there going to want to know where you got the alcohol, which may put someone else in trouble. Not to mention that you can loose your license or just have it suspended ( judges decision ) Plus hefty fines for DUI and mandatory class requirements.
No, there is no way to minimize the Breathalyzer test. Many have come up with some methods, but the cops are hip to those and will make you take a blood test if they think you may be altering the breath test. Refuse to take the blood test, your guaranteed to loose your license.
Stay very cool if confronted. If you act like a jerk, there going to be has hard as they can. Try to be calm! Watch what you say. Cops will ask the same questions over and over to see if you change your answer or change the way your story goes.
As I already said. If you refuse to take a test you will definitely loose your license. They normally give you a breath test first, But they can have you take a blood test to strengthen there case.(you can't fool a blood test)
Yes you can still get a ticket for under age drinking even if your not driving. You don't even have to be in a car for that.
If your going to drink, don't go anywhere else. See if you can stay where ever your drinking at.
Maybe don't drink at all until your legal. It's really not worth the trouble you can get into.
Just dont do it, its a selfish act. Youre putting other lives in danger.
Your best bet would be to not drink!! or else do not get caught, after that you are screwed!!
1. Yes. There are stiffer penalties for DUI under 21.

2. Nothing that hasnt been tried and failed.

3. You'll be drunk. Nothing anyone tells you will matter anyway. Respectful and compliant. And try not to breath on him.

4. Not taking the breathalyzer is a seperate offense. Depending upon how long it takes to get the blood test done, you MAY fall below the presumption. But you'd still get arrested for underaged drinking and driving and other charges.

5. Yes.

6. Dont drink and drive. It's as simple as that. You're 20 years old and so concerned about how to get out of a DUI that you had to ask all these questions? Chances are that if you continue in this line of thinking, tragedy is in your future.
1. There would probably be harsher penalties then if you were 21. Including a longer license suspension.

2. Nope, they are much more accurate and harder to fool then most lawyers would have you believe. If are are screwing around with me and the datamaster, I will just declare it a refusal.

3. Don't be a jerk. Don't drive while intoxicated.

4. Here in Missouri (and I believe CA also) the choice is the officer's. You don't want a blood test anyways, the reading tends to be higher then a breath test. The breath test gives you the benefit of the doubt and shoots low. The blood test doesn't give you such a benefit and it's harder to beat in court.

5. Yes you could.

6. Don't drink until you are 21.
