May I file charges against the fools who ran a truck into my flag pole and spray painted my lawn?

The words written were, "We told you to get that flag down, the north won dumb*ss"

Destruction of Private Property is the crime that was commited. I would certainitly file a claim. As for what was written, I was born in the south and I understand that the Rebel flag means just that Rebel "Bad*ss" Although many people still see it as if you agree with slavery and such.
